The Purpose of Beloved Blackness: To build a sense of dignity, respect, and wholeness by deepening the awareness of the complexity of what it means to be Beloved as Black people of African-descent.
The Mission of Beloved Blackness: We desire to facilitate the liberation and restore the wholeness of Black people of African-descent through the discussion, education, and exploration of the inherent and collective dignity and worth of Black people of African-descent: mind, body, spirit, and relationship.
